In front of you is the world's largest collection of guitar scale concepts by Fonexsis. This resource is essential for any musician. Conceptual Guitar (CG) introduces commonly used scale and mode concepts.

A "Concept" is a pattern of notes repeated across the six guitar strings. For example, the 3-3 concept involves using 3 notes on each string; the 2-2 concept uses 2 notes per string; and the 1-2-3 concept features 1 note on the sixth string, 2 notes on the fifth string, 3 notes on the fourth string, followed by 1 note on the third string, 2 notes on the second string, and 3 notes on the first string.

This application allows you to explore scales that complement specific chords and vice versa. CG caters to both music theorists and musicians across various genres such as classical, jazz, rock, metal, pop, and folk. Professional guitarists typically incorporate multiple scale and mode concepts into their creativity. This app provides access to 60 different scale concepts to help you find the right fit for your style.

All scales and modes are presented in diatonic, alt-diatonic, and chromatic systems.
